Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the power of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or rings. The item is replaced with another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment for example, increasing its damage.

Players can roll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item upgrader to higher quality. To make them, you'll need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

Growthstones

To upgrade gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will put an item in your inventory when you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
