Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or rings. The item is replaced with another of the same kind however with different bonuses. Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

To upgrade gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
