Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original item's level and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment using three attributes that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you require a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open, they display a full description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the level of an item level upgrade by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to get an advantage in battle without straining their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.

Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Additionally each upgrade item component will require a particular number of items to be applied in addition to an appropriate amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can add an item to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item level upgrade is 19.

Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. In the same way, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will have a discount.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade tokens.

Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Certain items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but because it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the Best item upgrader. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
