The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.

He tests and evaluates cleaning appliances. His focus is on mopping and robot vacuum combinations. These multitaskers are an excellent choice for those who want to cross mopping off the to-do list. They have impressive mapping capabilities and obstacle avoidance, and some even wash and refill their mopping pads to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that also mops then this is the model to go for. It's smaller than the other models and makes it more maneuverable in tight corners or under furniture. It uses a 220 degree lidar which, when paired with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it some of the most effective navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robot cleaner vacuum mop cleaner robot. It has a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 mins when mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through an efficient.

It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly, and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways in just one sweep. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to remove dirt as well as pet hair and even droppings with ease. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, isn't as good. The mop rotates at a high rate and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, easily scrubbing up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm extends out a bit more than other robots. This is useful in narrow corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger objects like books and broken toys.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've tried. It doesn't create as loud of a sound when mopping or vacuuming and is quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It is easy to install, and it works well. However when you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping purposes, you will need to be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.

The device comes with an extremely powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map your home and detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and effectively. This leads to a thorough, consistent clean which is also relatively fast.

In terms of mopping, the Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads are capable of reaching many different surface areas. They can reach corners and baseboards as well as other difficult-to-access spots. They also have a stretchy side brush that extends to reach the floor near walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and can be dried to reduce odors and prevent buildup.

App-based customization is a different interesting feature. The Q Revo allows you to alter the amount of suction and select between a back-andforth or more random patterns. You can also adjust the number of passes it will make, which will determine how fast the device will traverse your home. You can also disable the side brush in order to prevent damage to carpets and rugs.

The device is costly, but has many smart features. It's important to remember that it carries periodic costs, such as mopping supplies and maintenance. For instance the brushroll should be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter should be cleaned after 150 hours, and mop pads must be changed every one to three month.

The robot vacuum that mops is rated highly on Amazon and offers a wide variety of physical automation features. It has an energy button that can also function as a general 'Clean' button and a 'Home button that will take it back to its base station after completing the cleaning process. It also comes with a multi-functional dock that automatically emptys the trash bin and refills its water tank to mop and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a busy professional or just want an organized home that doesn't require much time doing chores The Shark Matrix Plus is a excellent choice. It is a powerful machine with smart navigation, and a long battery life that allows you to keep your home tidy with minimal effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum reviews vacuum and mop, which means it can handle both vacuuming and mopping. The robot is divided into two modules, a dry bin and water tank that can be easily snapped in and out and a mopping module which includes a microfiber pad. It's a bit old-fashioned to have separate modules for mopping and vacuuming, but it does mean you don't have to fret about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank of water.

Our test subjects found that the Matrix Plus did a great job of vacuuming as well as mopping. Its most impressive feature was its accurate floorplan, which it uses to create a route when cleaning. This made it a breeze for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture rug, furniture and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' as well as virtual barriers that prevent certain areas from being cleaned by mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a remarkable job at collecting hair from pets. It was able to collect many of the hair our cats shed, and even got into the nooks and crannies on our stairs where other robots had struggled. Its noise levels were fairly low, and there were some pleasant jingles to let you know that it was in the process of working towards its goal.

The app was too simple and you had to switch the modules every time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app cannot keep multiple maps. This could be an issue if your home has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot that can perform both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, but it also has distinctive features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and the 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base has a few control buttons that allow you to manually begin a cleaning task and then recall the robot or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to turn off a child lock that is a great touch for parents worried about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Like other robotic cleaner and mop vacuums the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system will map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate at recognising objects.

The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets entangled in an obstacle like a power cable tangled over a rug. It won't function until you untangle it manually. While it was not common however, it was a gruelling experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni doesn't come with an "stuck" status alert on its app.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad, except that the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between use. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking Robot Vacuums That Mop thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern, sleek base and mopping pad. It's a big difference from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in an industry dominated by boxes.
