The Often Unknown Benefits Of Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or rings. This replaces the item with an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of an item, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next success result is repeated. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item upgrader.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item upgrader. It's an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want burden their wallets. Furthermore players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can add equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the requirements required for that Best item upgrader. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item and the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've met the required requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade items by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
