The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single stroller to a double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted into a triple travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in total and is the most highly rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger's soft, breathable TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It has a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is lighter, too.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar can be one of the most easily adjustable and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and they have an adjustment button for the footwell to allow you to place your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious however we wish it had a latch that was more secure. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers a bit difficult to use since they need to be removed completely and reattached every time you use it.
Like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release by the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It is suitable for sandals and barefoot and an improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that some competitors use.
This is the only stroller we reviewed that can accept two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents with twins or an infant on the way. It can be used to fit most infant car seats from the major brands using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families with a car seat and need a stroller to accommodate it, but you may prefer a convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat for infants in this case.
