Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more efficient, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on a variety of floor types. Find models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to self-empty and clean up the stairs.

A lot of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save schedules, maps and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However it was a bit difficult navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rug.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be cleaned, although it will differ based on how much you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a powerful option for cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.

This robot combo is easy to set up and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can easily pick up dirt and other debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it does sometimes get hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual border within the application). Mopping capabilities are quite good with a pair of spinning mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation as needed. The mops can also be filled at the top of the station as they are required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best robot cleaner mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically extends to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.

Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It is able to move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is beneficial for homes that have multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than some competitors, however, and tends to leave a wide distance around obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

The app's interface is intuitive and streamlined. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, alter suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. You'll require a reliable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum Cleaners best vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always get every last bit of dust. It is important to clean frequently, every week. This is especially important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mop, is made to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has plastic body.

The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen in this price range, despite not being able to clean your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic vacuum and mop robot empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.

The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum mop cleaner robot we've ever tested. It also has an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums are unable to. This device also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
