Path of Exile item upgrader mod Upgrades

Item upgrades are a common and essential way to boost the performance of numerous items in Path of Exile. They can be a great source of damage and more AD or even more attaches.

Rare-grade equipment can be superior to the more modernized Common or Magic gear due to their higher requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades are a kind of upgrade that can be used on weapon and armor items. They boost the performance of the item upgrader mod they are attached to. Armor upgrades are available in the world of the game and can be purchased from Blacksmiths at bonfires. They can also be salvaged by using a specialist or higher salvage kit to retrieve upgrade components from other items.

The amount of damage that an armored item level upgrade or weapon is able to absorb is dependent on the extent of its upgrades. A piece of armor upgraded to maximum upgrade level will boost the damage it absorbs. But, it's important to be aware that this upgrade will increase its weight, which will cause it to weigh more than before.

There are several kinds of armor upgrades that are available in the game and each one has distinct effects. Some upgrades give armor an extra number of health points while others make it stronger and lighter. The name of the upgrade will indicate the kind of upgrade that an item upgrades will be given, as illustrated below.

Some of the upgrades also require magic or a combination of technology and magic, which are identified by the "Magic" and "Hybrids" entries in the table below. Certain upgrades require charges to use. These are identified as "Charges" entries in the table. The charges for these upgrades are updated every day or never expire, according to the upgrade.

Iron Ore is the cheapest option to improve your armor. You can locate it by exploring and looting small loot chests. Titanium is more expensive, but is readily available at the smelters of Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. Certain upgrades, such as the Reforge and the Hot Potato Books, can only be applied to high-level armor pieces. These upgrades can give a significant boost in stats, and are well worth the investment.

The player should be aware, however, that upgrading a piece to its max upgrade level will boost its defense. However, it will also affect the speed and agility of the piece. This is why it is generally not recommended to upgrade armor pieces above +9, because the increase in defense is usually not worth the weight and power cost of the upgrades needed.

Weapons

Weapon upgrades let players increase the effectiveness of specific aspects of the weapon. For instance an upgrade could improve the damage that is caused by shotgun shells or the accuracy of the sniper rifle. Certain weapons also come with upgrades that enhance their inherent characteristics. These include Frictionless Materials (improves stability and decreases the chance of the risk of overheating) and Kinetic Coils (increases projectile acceleration for more damage).

The majority of upgrades for weapons require a whetblade. It's one of three Power Dices and a different amount Minerals and Erons. These can be gained by completing Side Quests or by killing a certain number of monsters and bosses.

Upgrading a Weapon, Equipment Set piece or Whetblade requires visiting the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine and paying her an upgrade cost of a set number of Bars. The higher the upgrade level, the more bars you will need to complete the upgrade. The cost of the upgrades will be less if you have more than one of the relevant upgrade materials.

In Chapter 2: Season 5, the method of upgrading your weapon and equipment sets changed a little. Before you could search for an Upgrade Bench and pay for a specific amount of Bars to upgrade your weapon or equipment to a higher quality. You could do this until you reached the max upgrade level of the weapon or equipment, after which the upgrades would reset.

It's possible, but it relies heavily on RNG. You're better off buying gear with low levels of upgrade, but high base scores and stat distributions. They will also be able to give you the Best item upgrader tier of bonuses and blessings.

The majority of players will prioritize upgrades to the weapons they use most frequently to make sure they are able to level up faster. In addition to these players, they should also consider upgrading the weapons they use with their teammates to make them more powerful and effective. Shepard for instance, should upgrade the M92F in order to unlock the Beretta M93R. This will increase the effectiveness of the weapon when used by biotic specialists like Grunt and Tali.

Jewels

Jewels are utilized in the armor's sockets and weapons, enhancing the power of a character and bringing about secondary effects. They can be created through a process called jewelry crafting, in which you combine a gem with various reagents at a jewelry table. The higher the level of the gem, the greater the secondary effect. These reagents are obtained in the world from Treasure Goblins, World Bosses and occasionally by salvaging Legendary gear. You can also purchase them from The Jeweler for gold and a Scattered Prism.

The quality of a jewel can be improved at the Jeweler, in stages that vary from Crude to Royal. The boosts to stats will differ depending on the level the jewel is in when it's slotted into jewelry, weapons, or equipment.

All kinds of jewels are crafted at the Jeweler however, there are some exceptions to this, such as the rare and legendary jewels that require you to be at a certain level to qualify for these. Like other upgrade components jewels are able to be swapped with a identical jewel without destroying it. You can only replace the jewel once within an item of equipment.

It is typical to use more jewelry for aesthetic reasons. Apart from improving performance, the jewels create a surface that is harder than metal, so repeated friction from pivots doesn't cause damage as easily.

A Glyphmaster can provide glyphs to enhance the look of your weapons and shields. These glyphs offer a small boost and can be freely exchanged, however they're not guaranteed to appear as loot. Glyphs can be upgraded, as jewelry, by visiting the Jeweler for gold and scattered Crystal. Glyphs can also be taken out and returned to the inventory. Other upgrade components such as traits or aegis cannot be swapped, and can only be recovered through an upgrade extractor or salvaging with Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage tool.

Trinkets

Trinkets are pieces of equipment that provide a wide range of small, but beneficial benefits to your hero. You can find them in the start-up area as loot or as personal story rewards. They are also available from vendors as well as through the completion of road interactions. They can also be made by jewelers and later found or purchased from the Trading Post.

The first trinket players will unlock is the cloak. It gives a small but valuable boost in movement speed and evasion. After that, they can purchase amulets, rings and necklaces in the same way to how a player obtains armor and weapons. Each piece of gear comes with one upgrade slot that can accept either a universal or jewel upgrade. Universal upgrades offer smaller bonuses and can be used in any type of equipment, while jewelry cannot be replaced or upgraded, and only works with certain types of trinkets.

These trinkets can also grant buffs and skills that are active even when the character is not fighting. This enables the hero to perform better when they are not active and may also help to compensate for the absence of a solid team or any slots in the talent tree that would normally be filled with the hero's best statistics.

A good guideline for trinket upgrades is to prioritize BiS (Best-in-Slot) items that you will not replace soon, followed by items with desirable stats but less important than the iLevel of the item to be upgraded. This is particularly true if an item has multiple stats you'd like to upgrade as it's usually more beneficial to upgrade one important stat rather than two sub-optimal ones.

At the beginning of the game players in the jungle are likely to upgrade their yellow trinket into a red one, while top and mid players typically choose the pink or green ward (depending on the game's matchup). These choices can affect a hero's ability to control the map.

Apart from the things mentioned above, players can also find other trinkets throughout the game in the form of awards and trophies. These can be obtained through completing certain milestones within the story. For instance, completing a chapter’s main quest or defeating a boss. You can check them out by clicking on the achievement in the reward section of the hero's menu.
