1. Roomba Q5 pro
The Q5 Pro and its sibling, the more expensive Q7 Max Series, are among the most powerful robot vacuums we've examined. They have motors that are top of the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. Like other iRobots with premium features (including the most powerful model) they utilize smart mapping to produce precise floorplans that avoid obstacles like furniture leg. The robots also feature a feature called Carpet Boost which boosts its power when it senses dirt on the carpet.
Both the Q5 and the Q7 Max Series get very high scores on our floor tests that test for bare floors They're also particularly adept in removing pet hair. They do have some flaws however, which prevent them from being our first option. One of the Q5's shortcomings is its navigation system doesn't have AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's thus susceptible to getting stuck on shoes and socks and couldn't navigate densely packed rooms very well during our tests. It also doesn't have cameras that let it see the corners of a room.
It's still a good value for those whose office or home has a lot of unfinished floors and you're looking to save some money. It's also very quiet and can work while you're at work, or school. It's not equipped with the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming feature that's offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective in mopping, as it relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick on well and aren't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 is self-emptying cradle however. If you want to, you can switch the mopping pad for dry ones in a matter of just a few seconds.

It also did an excellent job of cleaning a mix of floors and rooms with various flooring types, such as some area rugs. Its obstacle detection was top notch and it swiftly eluded fake dog socks, turds, and bundles of cables.
It's a little more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but offers superior suction and an onboard bin that automatically empties into the base.
