World of Warcraft - Item Upgrader mod Upgrading

Upgrades to items allow players to increase the gear score of an item upgrading up to 700, and then add a final perk. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to increase their stats (like an ideally made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, don't change much post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats, such as damage to attack, crit chance, PvE and PvP damage. Weapons also have an unchanging bonus that increases their damage per second. A lot of weapons also have a fixed bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a group. In some instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.

A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will increase until it requires more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons also reroll the stats of the base. While this is usually beneficial, it can have some negative effects as well. In the case of items that only see use in a specific build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them can make them unusable unless you happen to have an extremely fortunate roll.

Armor items can also be upgraded to increase their effectiveness. In the case of a helm or chest, it will boost the defense of its base, while gloves and belts enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor also has a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it can sometimes change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats that it will gain when upgrading along with the relative values of those stats. This means that an upgrade from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11 attack-damage sword will result in a weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will hit 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button on the item upgrader kit menu using the arrows that are circling. This will reroll an item upgrader kit and alter its stats but not reset the weapon's level or tie it to the account status.

Armor

Making a few improvements to your armor can make a a huge difference in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE improvements in the resistance to curses, poison and fire as well as magic. This makes it easier to traverse difficult terrains. The more defense your character is, the more value you can get from each point of health you possess, so it's important to improve your armor as much as you can.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game, and to unlock each one you must complete an additional quest that involves the Stable Trotters. Once you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

The amount of material needed to upgrade items each piece of armor will vary. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the initial armor piece, and between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade the next one. For example the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep up with a large group of enemies in the majority of cold environments, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to survive a full on raid with a few of your friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll need to concentrate on upgrading it for physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power when you're a Mage. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still wear by the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you use in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also get some benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. In general, you should keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be beneficial to have a few improvements to the chest armor and helmets to allow you to stealth around some monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that, when consumed by the player, provide an immediate effect for a short period of time. There are five types of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to enhance their effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by adding redstone dust and glowstone dust.

Upgrades to potion require a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a craft table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades will vary based on the type of potion you'd like to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level and Rarity.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens a GUI where you can choose the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll produce when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.

Once a poton is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade in the event that you make use of it again or break the bottle in which it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change its name.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few changes to the mechanics of potions. Splash potions, for example are now available with a time of that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds shown on the item hover display. The table for potion is now made of four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be combined in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron drains the potion and replenishes the bottle.

Finally, there are lingering potions, which are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions' effect is extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added, for instance, the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket is a tiny and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also be an object or ornament that serves a function but isn't important such as a trinket. In some traditions, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade item their trinkets. Upgrades can be obtained by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. In contrast to other upgrades for items trinkets, trinkets can be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, as well as in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of rare trinkets.

Upgrades are a cheaper alternative to purchasing a new trinket. It can be done by the player for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as the older one, and include an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once the old ones are no longer useful and allows players to boost their power and value over time. They can be traded among players, making them an alternative to gold.

In general players should upgrade their highest priority items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are upgraded first before their secondary gear and other pieces of equipment they will not replace anytime soon (such as a ring or an cloak). When deciding on the items to upgrade, players should be aware of their class's preferred statistics. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player and they want to upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.

After they've become unusable, trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket comes with an additional bonus of 1. Re-upgrading can cause damage to the trinket unless it is salvaged with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than buying an entirely new trinket.
