World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will be able to gain 3% of its previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment with a slot for them. The item must be at least upgraded to the blue level to allow a component to be inserted. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a special kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment and some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, changing the name of the item it's used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players make stronger versions of the equipment that require less Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A boost upgrade can modify the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by purchasing them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals each.

The player can get the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of the extent to which it will increase after a future reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a substantial risk that the item may become obsolete or even break when it fails. A failed upgrade will ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the risk of failure. Some upgrades also give an additional bonus when reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, which includes any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in numerous ways. We recommend upgrading them as quickly as you can to level 15.

In the endgame you'll find that the best way to enhance your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes more quickly.

Glyphs, which is the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs, you will have to attach them to your equipment. Each Glyph will grant a distinct bonus that boosts a particular set of stat nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Based on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs boost all nodes that are connected to them, therefore it is best to put Glyphs in strategic spots on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance an Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but you should also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the power of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with an amount, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level of item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item, and once enough points have been earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item upgrader kit (you could try here).

When an item is upgraded by a player, the base item is replaced with a new item of the same kind. This means that the same armor piece will get the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This can be a disadvantage because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll the upgrade of their item upgrader mod. The item will be replaced by a brand new one that is based on a level 1 base and completely different bonuses. This is a good idea but it shouldn't be done often as it could waste resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled many times to increase their value, giving players the ability to alter their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and exits water (or swims like dolphins). This can be upgraded several times, each time raising the max roll by a factor of 10. This item is very useful in PvP. A properly rolled version can be worth up to 50x the value of a non-upgraded version.

Requirements

The upgrade of items allows players to boost the level of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency and items to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense, while upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear, which can be upgraded up to eight times. Every time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it has a chance of failing. The probability of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to return to its original state which means that the player has to spend additional items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it earned like chances to be crit, attack damage, or other effects (such as an increase in healing over time or reloading speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

Whenever an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its value. For example, a common item might have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each upgrade item to equipment requires different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses that are listed above.
