Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle different floors. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Find an app that lets you save maps, set schedules, and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of floors and rooms.

When I tested the S1 It was quick to identify our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or rugs.

After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before it needs to be emptied, though this can vary based on how often you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other models that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robotic cleaner and mop vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for cleaning. The robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a number unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of simply drag a pad across a surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if required.

The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also includes a hand vacuum that can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks that are automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it is sometimes hung in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can control by defining a virtual boundary within the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good with a pair of spinning mop heads that are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station as required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best mops and robot mop vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and small particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is intelligent, navigating tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It can go from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is beneficial for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models, however, and tends to leave a wide margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.

Its app has a streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleanings. You can also adjust suction power, mop setting and view 3-D and 2D maps. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get real-time video supervision. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are fantastic at picking up dirt and debris, but they're not able to get every speck of dust. It is important to clean regularly, once a week. This is especially true for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums as well as mops, is designed to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.

Even though it's not able to wipe your floors, the Q5 has the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleanings and determine the floor type. It also features an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.

The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't remove cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we have tested, it also has a unique method to map your home. This really helps it get into places that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction if necessary. The app also lets you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
