MFM reviewer Kath tried this buggy out with a newborn and 3 wheel jogger stroller year old and found that it was able to withstand grass, cobbles rough roads, dirt tracks, and kerbs. Kath wrote "it is solid to push and very solid when going over difficult terrain. The tyres, which are inflatable and need to be pumped regularly they have suspension built-in. This was extremely comfortable for my children.

Another thing to consider is the size of the seat and shape. You'll want it to be large enough to accommodate your child's comfort and you will also want it to be able to recline so that they can lie flat. Some three-wheel buggies have a lie-flat option that lets your child face you, whereas others only permit a parent-facing option.

Larger wheels

Larger wheels means that your buggy will be more stable on rough terrain - perfect for buggies designed for off-road use. In addition, they allow you to maneuver the pushchair in tight spaces. Many three wheeled buggies have the front wheels that swivel to assist you in maneuvering around tight corners, whereas others are specifically designed for running and have fixed front wheels that lock to improve the speed and stability at which they can be driven. This is especially useful when you bump against trees or a kerb. The front wheel can be lifted slightly to avoid hitting it.

Many 3 wheel strollers wheel all terrain buggy (socialbookmark.stream) wheel pushchairs feature air filled tyres which means they can handle many different terrains and are much more flexible than four wheelers. The buggies also have suspensions that Kath says "smooths out bumps extremely effectively".

Buggies with larger wheels can be quite wide and can be difficult to fit into tight spaces. This could be an issue if you plan to use it for jogging, or need to fit through doorways that are narrow when traveling. Fortunately, the majority of models come with small folding options that let you take off the front wheels to create more compact storage.

Easy to Manoeuvre

One of the major advantages to a three wheel buggy is that it's much easier to maneuver especially with a child on the way. MFM reviewer Kath tried a lightweight 3 wheel pushchair-wheeler with her toddler, and she wrote: "The Terrain is a delight to navigate in rough terrain. The swivel wheel in the front was particularly useful." I was also impressed with how well it dealt with bumps, particularly when using the hand-operated brake. I found it to be extremely stable when going downhill or on uneven ground."

The only drawback to this great maneuverability, is that the larger wheels of the 3 wheel pushchair travel system-wheel buggy may make it difficult to squeeze into tight spaces.
