Path of Exile Item Upgrading

In Path of Exile, item upgrading is one of the Best item upgrade ways to improve your gear without relying upon big-ticket drops or trade. This article will show you how to upp your items efficiently.

Upgrades to equipment provide a bonus on the item's stats. This bonus is based on the upgrade component level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components can make your armour and weapons stronger. You can locate them by destroying enemies, purchasing them from karma vendors or finding them in items-spheres. They can also be salvaged from equipment with them, or through the highest-quality salvage kits such as the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool. Unlike most other items, upgrade components are not destroyed when removed from an item.

Upgrade components are typically used to upgrade an item, but they can also be used for other purposes. They can be stacked in order to increase the level of the amount of experience gained by upgrading equipment or weapons. They can be forged for extra bonuses. A glyph that has been crafted can increase the chance of upgrading its target while boost upgrades increase the attack or defense capabilities of a weapon.

You can attach an upgrade template to an item by selecting it from the edition GUI. This will show the upgrade components to which the item can be updated. Alternatively, you can use the workbench to select an upgrade template. In either case, the item will be upgraded when enough upgrade components have been gathered.

Each component is assigned an experience multiplier. This determines how much experience an item will gain when upgraded using the component. For instance, organic components offer a higher experience multiplier than mechanical ones. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade with organic components until you reach the experience multiplier of the next level of the equipment or weapon, and then move to mechanical upgrades.

Each item upgrade comes with an upgrade maximum number that can be received. The number of items that are upgradeable is determined by their upgradeable rank and the kind of upgrade they can get. For instance, the highest possible weapon upgrade is a tier 10 weapon. The most commonly used upgrade is a gun of tier 6 and a armor upgrade of tier 5.

Sets

A set is a group of items that have the benefit of. Each item in the set can be upgraded at least once, and the upgrade will increase the guaranteed bonuses. When you first upgrade a set piece or weapon is that it will be given an increase of +1 to its primary stat. After subsequent upgrades the primary stats will be boosted a little more (for example, +1 to 12+/13+/14+) Each time you upgrade the item with an additional stats is boosted randomly.

Upgrades can also increase the damage base of a weapon. This could be crucial for certain types of weapons. Weapons cannot be upgraded for greater maximum defence rolls than their base. It is possible to increase value of certain set and unique items by upgrading them, however they're not always superior to a higher-level Runeword.

If you are upgrading an item that comes with an added bonus it can be rerolled a single time, and its guarantee will reset back to 0. The same amount of power dies are used to reroll an item as it is used to upgrade it. However, the new item has different bonuses. Upgrades can be made through the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko in Central Flarine. To upgrade item an item you will need the appropriate amount Minerals and Erons and a power dice of each type. These can be purchased by using Gold at the crafting table, or in the Ultra Collection. The NPC will also give a special reward for each completed tier of the upgrade process. This reward can be rerolled a second time and the reroll will use the same materials as the original item.

Rerolling

If a player has enough to reroll tokens, they are able to roll any item they've accumulated during the game. If an upgraded item is rerolled, it will be exchanged for a version that is level 1 of the same item from a different set. Reroll tokens are available in the shop for a small amount of in-game currency. They are not refundable. The new item will have the same bonus features like the first, however the stats will also be different.

Players can change the identity of equipment in addition to rerolling it by interacting with a NPC upgrader. This will change the identification from a weapon to an armor or reverse the process. The basic requirements and stats remain the same. The change is permanent and will affect all characters that have the gear in question.

The player can also upgrade the level of the item for any equipped equipment. This is done by talking to an upgrader NPC and obtaining upgrade components. This will cost a certain amount of crests and Valorstones according to the upgrade track and kind. In the case of weapons, each step will add an additional 5percent to the damage.

Upgrades can boost the capability of an item, however they can also reduce the quality of an item. Therefore, it is important to strike a balance between the two. Some items aren't worth upgrading, while other items require upgrading to maximize their potential. For example one player might decide to upgrade a piece breakpoint armor that comes with an interesting modifier ( percent chance of blocking or FHR) to see what it can be.

Rerolling is a standard practice in Genshin Impact and other gacha-based games. It is a method used by players to gain access to a character or weapon they cannot otherwise get. These items are time-consuming and costly to acquire, and the RNG isn't always a good fit. The only choices left are to invest real money or grind a lot. For this reason, rerolling is a popular option in Genshin Impact.

Leveling

You can choose whether to upgrade the weapon or armor when you upgrade an item. But, this feature does absolutely nothing in the current game. I believe that this feature was created to add some value to expensive and rare items. However, since most items are replaced quite quickly, and can only be upgraded by one level, you'll typically replace it before it gets too old. It's also not worth it to upgrade items with gem sockets as the power of the gem will far outweigh the increased ilvl that comes with the upgrade.

When you click the upgrade option on an item, you'll be presented with a small window displaying the item's upgrade template and the cost of Valorstone and crest to increase the item level. The costs will vary between the armor and weapons, with the former usually costing more than the latter. The upgrade template outlines the stats that will be added to the upgraded item. It it also lists the current ilvl.

The Crest and Valorstone costs are calculated by analyzing the item's current ilvl as well as the upgrade template. Additionally, the ilvl of the new upgraded item will be reduced by the upgrade template's lvl decrease percentage. For example an upgrade of 8% will decrease the weapon's ilvl by 8 to 8%.

In addition to the base ilvl boost the item will also get upgrades in other stats like critical strike damage, PvE damage, dodge, block, and parry rating. The increases are also dependent on the upgrade template.

In the upgrade template you can check the amount of damage or defense an item will suffer after being leveled up. This is displayed below the cost and upgrade percentages. In addition to practice equipment, all armor and weapons gain these same stats when leveled up. The market determines the value of these stats. A weapon or armor with perfect rolls can fetch an incredibly higher price than a non-upp’d version. The same is true for other armor pieces, such as circlets and Tiaras.
