World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item upgrading and enchantments.

They also provide bonus effects and improvements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.

The upgrade items button can be found on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapon

When the weapon is upgraded it gains an initial damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon may also gain a number of upgrade components that provide additional features or effects, and some have unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meets certain specifications. If a weapon piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it can be replaced with another however the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item upgrader the item.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon's level.

After the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade and is then reforged to add different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects vary depending on the rarity of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.

Generally, it is recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon prior to any other gear, because it can increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Best item upgrade Upgrades allow players to increase the performance of specific weapons, armors trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, for example, an increase in damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. In most cases, a piece of armor will be upgraded to next level once an upgrade is applied. This is the case for all types of armor, however certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades offer some improvement to an item level upgrade's defense base or strength. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant increases to strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an epic item.

In addition to enhancing the defense base of an item, a few upgrades also give specific abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be extremely useful in combat. For example they can increase attack speed or block. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that are useful for example, the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Upgrades to armor may require multiple attempts, depending on the type. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt would result in an Dragonscale armor with an initial defense range of between 67 and 77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations has a powerful fair who can improve a piece of armor for you.

Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not useful. The reality is that certain armors come with very substantial increases in poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them very useful for certain builds. There are other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger to reduce the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by putting it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another level of effects from the potion and is able to be repeated to increase the potency.

The potion also gains a custom color code which the player can select using /give and which alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, mundane thick and awkward potions now have a brand new texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness have been added. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be brewed by using splash potions or Dragon breath. Additionally, there is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Issues relating to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.

Trinket

A trinket can be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. It could also be a small banner used to mark the lateen yard of a boat. It could also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a ship.

This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze, making them more common. The trinket, at its current level makes all types Xx of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor a A% chance that it will contain an ebony-colored replica. Upgrades to this trinket require a moderate amount energy.

The magic of the enchanted scepter is believed to affect the dungeon itself, making it more likely to produce water and grass. This trinket, at its current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or other items that are created to solve danger rooms.

This item, which looks like a newt's eyes appears to alter your vision in a manner that goes beyond simply reducing your field-of-view. This trinket, at its current level, boosts the health gained by drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X%, and gives you mind-sight on enemies within the Y tile. This trinket does not stack with the Higher Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters and in chests and crates. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

If you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded then place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an effect on the trinket which is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as many times as you wish, however it will always have a different effect than the one that it had when you first made it.

You can also enhance your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
