10 Unexpected Item Upgrade Tips
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one similar one with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of an item, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll their equipment using three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item upgrades to a better quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality token to reroll. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next success result is to be rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. It's a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want strain their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to obtain these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
