Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've ever wanted to purchase a robot vacuum hoover vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its greatest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to send you a picture of an object that it encounters, so that you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas you don’t would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.
The design is also superior to the other models. It has a sleek, high-end piece that looks like a toy rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self vacuum near me-emptying, which is great to speed up cleaning.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a little grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. It did all this without getting tangled up in our pet's shedding hair.
While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and a vac in their home. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.
While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that use robotic vacuum cleaner reviews cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and it can be difficult to determine whether they're working until you actually see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the ideal choice. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. These bots also have a variety of extra features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and while it doesn't have certain features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save hundreds of dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles such as table legs and walls, which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few missed corners and on walls.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. The app lets you begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and adjust your home map or change the labels of rooms.
If you select the Q5+ it includes a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once in place, emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It also has an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't essential for most people but it can help effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.
It is a relatively small base station that looks stunning and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot charged and clean.
And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tried that does well at picking up the dust from floors with no. And it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It's not able navigate stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and it doesn't have an dock that allows the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for plush carpets.
While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those seeking a great all-round robot Intelligent Vacuum Cleaner and mop that's worth the price tag.
However, if you're looking to save some cash or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of other great choices available which include a variety of eufy models priced considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides an identical experience on the app with more features like stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of producing robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of carpets and hard flooring, and mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's easy to set up, simply attach one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock near a power outlet and enough space for it to move but.
The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it will fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.
The way in which the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it can't access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.
The elegant G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 however is less expensive and is much easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating bulky material like cereal.
