iRobot suggests cleaning the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other clutter it might come across. It's also an excellent idea to keep the dustbin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. In our testing the i7+ was faster and more maneuverable than our top choice which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it picked up large pieces of pet hair from all surfaces types, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin which eliminates a major source of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot vacuum cleaners to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room and sweep a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. After being connected, to speak commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world full of cordless vacs that feel like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an old-fashioned sports car. It has the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum for many households and can fit perfectly next to the table for a coffee or a bookshelf where you can wave it around like an enchanted wand.
The V10 is powered with seven cells of energy-dense Lithium-ion batteries that can provide power that is not fading for 60 minutes. The advanced whole-machine filter system captures allergens, and then lets cleaner air into your home. The specially designed head utilizes stiff nylon bristles to penetrate into carpets and pick up large particles or fine dust. It has three suction modes that can be adapted to the specific task. It is able to swiftly switch from floor vacuum to handheld vacuum and vice versa.

This model has its own advantages, however: it's lighter and more mobile than previous Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is noticeably superior for carpet floors with low pile.

One of iRobot's most popular robot vacuum cleaners vacuums, the 694 is a basic model that's an excellent option for those who don't want to spend too much money on a robot. It could pick up most types of debris and sizes in our testing and often went over the same area many times for an extensive clean. Its flat front makes it possible to reach corners and edges of walls.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate around your home, but it's not equipped with the mapping capabilities of more advanced models like our top picks and the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. This means that it can sometimes get stuck on things like phone cords or low furniture, and it often runs out of battery power before making it back to its original location.

The app offers a wide range of customization options for your robotic cleaner. This includes mopping levels, virtual barriers and behavior customizations, docking frequency settings and many more. The app is easy to navigate and use as are other Samsung devices.
In our tests our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors and dealt with dog hair (on carpet) quite well, cleaning up 86% of it. However, it did not do particularly well in avoiding larger objects, like cords and socks, which was disappointing. It's also more expensive than the other models we've tested, and this could be a deal breaker for certain shoppers.
