1. Roomba Q5 Pro
The Q5 Pro and its sibling, the more expensive Q7 Max Series, are among the most powerful robot vacuums we've test. They feature top-of-the-line motors that can produce up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. As with other premium iRobot models (including the top pick) they utilize smart mapping technology to create detailed floor plans and avoid common obstacles like cords and furniture legs. They also come with carpet boost that increases the robot cleaner with mop's power when it sees an abundance of dirt on the carpet in order to get it cleaned quickly.
Both the Q5 and the Q7 Max Series get very excellent scores in our bare floor tests and are particularly effective at cleaning pet hair. However, they do have several flaws that prevent them from being our top choice. One of them is that the Q5's navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance, so it's prone to getting hung up on socks and shoes and couldn't navigate tight spaces very efficiently in our tests. It doesn't also have a camera to see around corners.
It's still a great deal particularly if your home or office has a lot of bare floors and you want to save money. Plus, it's very quiet and can work when you're at work or at school. It's not equipped with the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming feature that's available in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective at mopping, as it relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick on very well and can't handle dried-on debris. The Q5 does have an auto-emptying dock, however. If you need to, the mopping pad can be replaced with an awe-inspiring one in a matter of seconds.
2. IRobot Roomba X30
The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming capabilities into an elegant, compact package. Its intelligent cleaning maps as well as nimble navigation make it easy to clean and effective in tackling larger particles, like pet hair. It also comes with self-emptying dustbins with powerful suction and support for virtual boundaries. It's the best robot mop hoover (https://Kingranks.com/author/coughroof9-1775453/) for carpets, but it isn't as efficient as some of its competitors in deep cleaning.

The app lets you modify zones and alter the cleaning schedule. It has a battery lifespan that is similar to other models.
You can tell the X30 Ultra to remove its mops and to extend them when in a room with carpet which prevents cross-contamination. Its flex arm is ideal for getting under low-lying furniture and along baseboards. It's not as efficient on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.
During tests during testing, the X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop to complete the entire house with the battery at 66 percent left. It did a great cleaning job on a variety of rooms and floors with various flooring types including certain area rug. Its obstacle detection was top-notch and it was nimbly avoiding fake dog turds, socks, shoes, and bundles of cables.
It's more expensive than the iRobot Combo v9+ and iRobot Roomba j9+, however, it comes with superior suction, an onboard dustbin that automatically emptys into its base, and supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can even clean the floor after vacuuming it, something hasn't been seen in other robot vacuum/mop combinations.
3. Roomba X40 from iRobot
This robot vacuum and mop combination features a sleek, circular design that appears more like a regular Roomba model than the bulky models from the rivals. It's among our most attractive robot vacuums. iRobot’s latest flagship model is also the most intelligent. It comes with advanced features such as Enhanced Dirt Detection and future compatibility (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads in a self-cleaning manner).
It's the only robot vacuum/mop that scored an exemplary 10/10 in our tests due to a mix of high-tech sensors, including a camera, structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot in our tests that can fully self-refill and empty its base station and it boasts its own self-cleaning mop pads.
The X40, like other iRobot products, is easy to use. It comes with an intuitive mobile app interface that integrates with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only drawback is that the X40 is still a noisy unit. This could be a concern in the mornings before work, or during the night when you're trying to sleep.
It's also a bit expensive, though it's not as pricey as the Ecovacs X2 Omni or the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra both of which are equally powerful and better-looking. This is a dual-purpose vacuum that's extremely powerful however, it's more expensive and create more noise.

The smart robot employs the combination of LIDAR and structured light to map out floor plans and identify obstacles, and navigates more effectively than some of its premium rivals. It also comes with a front-mounted camera for real-time hazards detection, though this wasn't completely foolproof in our tests, and could be confused with obstructions or power cords.
Its vacuum has a high maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to complete the task. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates how hard the vac works and alters the frequency of cleaning for different areas of the home in accordance with the degree of dirt they are.
If you have a bigger home, it's worth selecting a robot that comes with spot or zone cleaning mode. This lets you instruct the robot vacuum that mops on which part of your house needs to be cleaned with the help of an app or voice command. A stairway mode is beneficial if you have lot furniture. For families that are busy, a recharge feature and resume feature that allows your robot vacuum to resume where it left off could be extremely useful.
iRobot RX3
The RX3 is a cleaner with more intelligence than you might expect from its price tag. It has a great vacuuming performance, picking up 55% debris in our tests. (It was only second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mopses with a single pad that uses a reciprocating motion, which is cleaner than the other mop cleaners for robots we've tried. It's self-sufficient too, with a fully-featured app as well as an auto-emptying washable base.
The well-designed iRobot app guides you through a mapping session that collects data about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you have marked on the map. It can be used to make cleaning schedules, arrange the perfect spot for cleaning or sort out your rooms with the most dirt for better performance. The app also provides access to a host of features, such as seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.
It can also reach corners and under furniture better because its shape is more rectangular. It is equipped with an impressive 8,000 Pascal suction, as well as intelligent combs to remove pet hair. And you can set up a spot cleaning that intensely cleans a localized area.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a sleeker and more affordable alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It has a more attractive style, much like Dolce & Gabbana. The twin cameras are designed to resemble cute little eyes. It does a good job vacuuming, but it is more susceptible to getting caught on low thresholds and is a bit noisier than the other top robotic vacuums we've tested. It also comes with an app that's less intuitive and has a tiny base station that doesn't double as a bin to empty.
