World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will gain 3% of its previous damage for each time it is upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets to give them a boost in stats or to add an additional effect. These can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors, trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item must be at the very least upgraded to blue level in order for the component to be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is used on (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of the equipment using the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defence characteristics of an armored weapon or. These upgrades are available to be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them from the cash shop, or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will be revealed in the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their gear, even when they're not sure how much it will be improved following a reset.

If a boost upgrade item is successful or not, the process can be costly, and there is a substantial risk that the item may become obsolete or even break if it fails. A unsuccessful upgrade could destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that double or even eliminate the chance of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, which includes any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as possible to level 15.

You'll often see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the best method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the various Glyphs, and there are some rare Glyphs that can be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that will boost a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

The use of Glyphs Glyph will boost all the nodes that are linked to it, and you should aim to place your Glyphs close to key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. Druids for instance, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may be able to place them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to improve the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components in them. This is also known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level, which determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled up to a maximum level of ilvl 385. Each item level requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields a number of Technology Points. These points can be used for leveling up an item. When enough points have been earned, you will be eligible to claim the upgrade and receive its additional bonuses.

When the player upgrades an item it is replaced with a different item of the same kind. The same armor will be upgraded to a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set of bonuses. This could be a drawback, as the item can be more expensive even if you do not require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can reroll item upgrades. This causes the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will come with an initial level and a different set of bonuses. This is a good option for some items, but it's not something that should be performed frequently, since it can waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their gear. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or does not swim as dolphins). This can be upgraded several times, each time increasing the max roll by 10 points. This item can be extremely useful in PvP battles, since the best version of it could be worth between 20 and 50x its value without being upgraded.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the level of their available equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets above ilvl 385--by offering the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the defense base of the piece, whereas upgrading weapons will increase the base damage and required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items are upgradeable up to five times except for hero equipment, which is able to be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it has a chance of failing. The probability of failure increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures can cause the item to revert back to its original state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would have to had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item isn't upgraded, the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any gained bonuses, including crit chance and attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or the speed of reloading). The player is able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

If an item upgrader mod is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that when a weapon gains an increase in crit chance, the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is calculated every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are dependent on its rarity score and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For example, a common item might have five upgrades for a price of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero grade items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements than standard gear--for instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. Whatever the case, players will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each equipment upgrade will require different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the cost mentioned above.
