1. Roomba Q5 pro
The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive cousin, the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we've examined. They are equipped with motors that are top of the line and can suction up to 5,500 Pascals. Like other iRobots with premium features (including the top model) they employ smart mapping to create detailed floor plans and eliminate household obstacles such as cords and furniture leg. The robots also feature Carpet Boost, a feature which boosts its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.
Both the Q5 and the Q7 Max Series get very excellent scores in our bare floor tests, and they're particularly adept in cleaning pet hair. However, they do have a few flaws, however, that prevent them from being our first choice. One of the weaknesses of the Q5 is its navigation system doesn't have AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's also prone to getting stuck on shoes and socks and couldn't navigate rooms with lots of people well during our tests. Also, it doesn't have a camera that would let it see the corners of an area.
However, it's a good choice, especially if you want to save money on an Roomba from iRobot and have a mostly unfinished home or office. It's also less effective at mopping, as it relies on disposable wet wipes that don't hold on very well and can't take on dried-on debris. The Q5 does have an auto-emptying dock, however. If you need to clean the mopping pad, it can be swapped for an awe-inspiring one in a matter of seconds.

It did a good cleaning job on different flooring and rooms with different flooring types, including certain area rug. Its obstacle detection was top notch and it was nimbly avoiding fake dog socks, turds, shoes, and bundles of cables.
