Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

Reroll Tokens

Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game.
