Like all robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box and needs only an initial mapping session to figure out how it can navigate your home. Once that's done the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or joined depending on the need. You can also create virtual boundaries, no-go zones and no-mop zones if you don't want the robot to touch certain items.

The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop makes it a good option for homes with floors of both types but its dependence on a Eufy-branded cleaning product (which is included in the box) can make it less flexible than some other robots that allow you add your own solutions.
