Inattention and hyperactivity scores of more than 6 on the CPT are thought to be a sign of ADHD. A Qb-Score of 1.5 in healthy people is considered to be the minimum to determine ADHD.

The results of the study suggested that malingerers are over-compensating for their weaknesses in skills. They also scored lower on visual and auditory tasks, which led to lower mean scores on visual tasks. They could not fool the Auditory Prudence and Visual Focus tests.
